Van Gogh exhibition
Poster design for a Van Gogh exhibition in Turin.
Turin is set to host an imaginary Van Gogh exhibition, titled "Van Gogh - Il Genio del Colore," translating to "Van Gogh - The Genius of Color." This captivating showcase celebrates the brilliance of the renowned Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh, with a special emphasis on his mastery of color. The heart of the exhibition lies in the vibrant strokes that defined Van Gogh's unique style.
The first poster designed for this event features a 1887 Van Gogh self-portrait as the central design element. The artist's intense gaze and bold brushstrokes are complemented by a rich palette of colors that spill outwards, symbolizing the genius of his use of color. The typography is modern yet refined, emphasizing the fusion of classic artistry with contemporary flair. The second poster is a variation of the first, from which differs for a centered layout of the title and the use of Van Gogh's self-portrait as a fill for the painter's name.
