Tactical urbanism

Graphic design for a thesis on temporary reuse and tactical urbanism.

Mockups Design

Can temporary uses of space become a catalyst for urban transformations and challenge traditional models of living in our cities? Initiatives characterized by temporariness, low cost, and spontaneity, Tactical Urbanism and Temporary Use involve repurposing disused buildings, shopping centres, public spaces, and abandoned urban areas to create open spaces for citizens, fostering cultural and artistic activities, leisure spaces and community engagement.

To make this work stand out, I designed a minimalist yet colourful layout that enhances the communication of its key concepts, providing a clear, professional and visually appealing presentation. The clean structure slides into the background, shining spotlights on the substance, while the typography and consistent visual elements navigate readers through the pages, helping them find their way through theoretical parts and case studies.
